Shantel was raised by entrepreneurs, which made a career in business a natural fit. Growing up in Wyoming, she worked in the family contracting business, assisting in bookkeeping and every day operations. With already having real life experience in accounting, Shantel would often reference back to those times in college as she grew her knowledge in accounting.
Most recently, Shantel has worked closely with a not-for-profit, developing her bookkeeping experience as a financial secretary. Shantel loves problem solving and creating order out of chaos. As part of the Tamarack team, she is excited to learn more about public accounting. When she's not at work, Shantel enjoys crocheting, playing the piano, and leisurely sipping on a cup of coffee. She also loves going on hikes and other outdoor adventures with her husband and golden retriever.
